About The Reid O’Leary Charitable Trust

The Reid O’Leary Charitable Trust, founded in 2021 in memory of Reid O'Leary, is dedicated to preventing the devastating loss and grief caused by suicide among young people. Our mission is to provide critical mental health support and education, starting from our base in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, with the goal of expanding nationwide and into the Pacific region. We aspire to become a global leader in mental well-being support, aiming to save lives and build resilience within our communities.

At the heart of our work is the development and deployment of a pioneering digital tool designed to offer accessible mental health support, community connection, and mood tracking for young people. Alongside this, we host community events, educational workshops, and outreach initiatives, building awareness and empowering youth with tools for mental resilience. We are committed to building a legacy of hope, connection, and mental wellness, striving to honour Reid’s memory and support young people everywhere.
